TSP deliver both short, sharp, tailored professional development courses through our TSP Pro Courses range and a wide range of work-based programmes that lead to nationally recognised intermediate, advanced and higher level qualifications. The type of course that you choose will depend on your current situation. We have summarised the different types of courses that we offer below.
Q. What courses do TSP offer for those aged 19 and over who need to develop their skills to gain employment or progress within their chosen career?
A. We offer a range of recognised TSP Pro courses and also accredited Certificate and Diploma qualifications at level 2 or 3 that are designed to enhance your skills and CV in preparation for going for your next interview.
Q. What courses do TSP offer for those aged 16-24 who are looking to gain work experience to help them progress into an Apprenticeship?
A. We can offer Traineeship courses if you are in this situation. A Traineeship is the name given to a work experience placement that we coordinate for you over 2-3 months. While you are gaining your work experience, we provide a personal tutor to deliver training sessions in English, Maths, Employability Skills and other relevant vocational knowledge such as customer service and effective team working.
Q. What courses do TSP offer for those aged 16 and over who are in work or are looking to start in a job role with a recognised training programme included?
A. This is what we call an Apprenticeship course and we would deliver an Apprenticeship in the workplace with a main subject chosen from our range of Apprenticeship courses. An Apprenticeship can be offered to candidates of all ages above the minimum age above and:
- Those who are in work and are training for a new role or responsibilities
- Those who may be working but wish to re-train in a new vocational area
